I like to think of this as my space to explore all things design, art, and technology.
In my customer experience design class, we were challenged to incorporate AR/VR into a restaurant context to solve an existing problem. Throughout the semester, we conducted UX research, created personas, made a customer journey map, and prototyped our solution. My team chose to use AR/VR in an application to help servers and customers communicate in a restaurant and avoid misunderstandings and delays. One of the most fun 'syde' projects (pun very much intended) I've worked on has been designing the Systems Design Engineering (SYDE) Class of 2026 Profile. Each term, we collect data from students about academics, demographics, high school admissions, lifestyle, and co-op to describe our class, and this year we made a website from scratch! As one of the members of our design team, I contributed towards our branding, information architecture, wireframing, developing low and high-fidelity prototypes, and working with our development team during handoff. We designed it within a month, and the website launched at the beginning of May to an audience of over 78,000! Check it out below and click here for the case study!
